We started introducing Mason to cereal the past week or so. Although we don’t have any pictures to show for it, most of it ends up all over his face, traditional “baby style”. We are not so sure he is taking to it so well, he doesn’t take it very well, so we are going to give him another week and try again. Soon he will be “woofing” down his own bowl of Cheerios like his dad, who thought when I said we can start giving Mason cereal soon, thought that meant feeding him his first bowl of Cheerios:) I’m glad I am around, hahaha. It made for a good laugh.

Mason is on the move a lot now. He is rolling from his belly to back and motoring around in a circle when placed on his tummy. Just yesterday he started into the shaking/banging phase. He discovered his rattle is not only fun to chew on but shake so hard he flings it across the room when he lets go! It’s funny to watch. He’s growing so fast!

Hope you enjoyed the pictures!

Our church is sponsoring refugees who have come from Burma (also known as Myanmar) which has been in the news a lot lately. Eric, the guy who’s heading up our involvement with the refugees, has started a blog. All of you should check it out and find out how you can help out with this cause! http://pittsburghrefugees.blogspot.com/

We had a little bit of fun with Mason’s first Halloween. Although he didn’t collect any candy this year or dress up in any fancy costumes, he did get to wear a cute little onesie and greet all but 4 trick or treater’s at our door! I think he was a bit bored with all of the “festivities” and soon started to let out some big yawns and was ready for a nap! We had fun taking his picture though, even Chloe got in on the fun, wearing her little pumpkin collar that Greg hates, and probably rightly so, haha.
