Greg, his Dad, and his Grandpap were hard at work this past weekend on the attic bathroom.  They made great progress while Mason and I were gone.  I don’t know what we would do without their “know how” on projects like this.  We just need some finishing touches and a medicine cabinet and then it will be all done.  It looks great!  We don’t have many good “before” pictures unfortunately, but I put up what we do have.  Next is the bedroom part of the attic, but we will be taking a break for awhile.  It’s been non stop house projects it seems!

Mason is now just over 3 months old!  He is growing like crazy.  Some new tricks of his are rolling from his back to his stomach, which is funny because most babies are not supposed to be able to do that until about 5 months or so, usually it’s tummy to back first.  I am frequently finding him turned on his tummy now when he wakes up in the morning.  I guess he’s just ahead of his age:)  He gets into rolling laughs too, Greg is good at getting him to giggle like crazy.  Mason is still sleeping great at night, usually 8-10 hours, but he is still not much of a daytime napper, which can make for a cranky baby sometimes.  We’re working on forcing him into a schedule, since he doesn’t seem to be making one on his own!  Regardless of the sometimes fussiness, he is such a great little boy who we are sooo glad to have in our lives.  We can’t imagine life without him now!  Mason is becoming quite the traveling guru.  This past weekend we went out to Bloomsburg to see Great Grammy and Grandpap Derr.  We also got to see Grandpa, Mimi, Edie, and their foreign exchange student Jenny.  And Uncle Bren, Aunt Rach, and cousin Hope stopped in on their way to PSU for the weekend.  We found out that Mason is going to have another little cousin!  Rachel is about 4 weeks pregnant and expecting sometime in June.  We are so excited.  Mason got to go to the Bloomsburg Fair too.  He slept most of the time, but woke up in time to pick out his first ATV to ride with his Dad:)  This weekend Mason gets to take his first trip to Penn State.  I think he is as excited to go back to PSU, as his Mom and Dad:)  We are excited to see our friends the Welliver’s and their one year old, Chase, and soon to be little girl.  After Penn State, we are all off to the Young Life camp at Lake Champion in New York for the Orchard Group Retreat.  Mason is coming along for the ride, it will be interesting to see how he fares for the trip.  I think we may be taking lots of walks in the woods to keep him happy!  We will bring updates soon!

Greg and his Dad spent hours finishing up the garage this past Saturday.  They patched all the holes from the electrical work last summer and painted it a nice clean white.  They powerwashed the whole garage and organized all of our “junk”.  It looks great.  Next project, tackling the attic!  Updates to come!  Keep scrolling down for pictures of Mason.

Mason is smiling and giggling more each day!  He is so fun to watch.  After this week he will be just about 3 months old, crazy!  Some other new things for the little guy, he has begun to discover his hands and that they come in very handy for putting things into his mouth.  When he manages to grab a hold of a rattle or his little animal friends hanging from his gym, they go straight to his mouth for endless tasting pleasure:)  Only a small glimpse of what is to come!
