Here are some pictures of the “80’s” Party that Discovery just recently threw. It was a good time for everyone and Greg got just a little into it. Don’t you love the hair and “tat’s”?, as he says:) Unfortunately, I couldn’t join in on the fun, although Mason would have looked pretty cute in one of those wigs himself!

Mason is growing so fast, he already got his first ATV ride at 4 weeks of age! Greg took him for just a little spin around his friend Brad’s yard. He wants to make sure he gets off on a good start in life! Mason also got his first bottle this week. We have a wedding to go to on Saturday, so Aunt Shari is coming to watch him for a bit, so he gets to eat from a bottle all day. I think he likes how fast he gets food from it, he sleeps real good afterwards with such a full belly! Well, as you can see, our little guy is getting bigger and bigger. We are enjoying him more and more each day as he becomes more interested in the world around him. Enjoy some of the pictures!

Wow, these past two weeks have gone by so fast with Mason. They have been a bit of a blur, between feedings, diaper changes, and trying to coerce the little guy to go to sleep:), so I might try to get a little sleep myself! Aside from all that, Mason is doing great. His “personality” seems to be coming out a bit and he is starting to “fill out” too, growing a little bigger each day. Mason has been sleeping decent most nights, up to 4 or 5 hour stretches, but he doesn’t seem to want to settle down during the day too much. Getting him to fall asleep in his crib for naps has bee painful for him and myself! Greg and I just love to watch the little faces he makes when he is awake and happy. Everyone says he scrunches his little nose like I do, but aside from that, the majority seem to think he looks like Greg. That’s fine with me, since I tend to think his daddy is pretty handsome:) Mason has been enjoying play time with daddy, especially during bath times. He is crying significantly less during those times and seeming to enjoy it more and more, especially cuddle time afterwards! Parenthood has definitley been an adjustment. I’m not sure there is anything Greg or I could have done to prepare ourselves for the utter exhaustion we have felt or the extreme joy. I know that I feel as if my emotions are constantly on a roller coaster ride! Throughout it all though, we have had so much wonderful support from our family, friends, and church family at Discovery, from meals to cleaning, to trying to console a crying baby; thank you to all who have blessed us so much these past two weeks! Enjoy some of the new pictures to come tonight, we will try to be better at posting more often.
