Baby Appointment

Devon and I went to the doctors yesterday for a routine check up.  We were told what you have all known all along…the doctor walked into the room, looked at me and then Devon and remarked “You look great.  She looks better than you.  I mean, she looks better than you or me.”  I don’t know how I feel about the doctor hitting on my wife like that or what that says about me, but I’ll take it because she is gorgeous!    Everything is going very well though.  The baby is growing the way it is supposed to, Devon is gaining baby weight, the heart is beating just great, and Devon is feeling great.  I’m anxious for our ultrasound, that appointment is scheduled for Saturday, February 10.  We’ll let you know how everything goes and keep posting pictures.

January Birthdays

Well, Devon and I had our birthdays last week.  We celebrated by eating out at places that gave us email offers for free food.  Is that the epitomy of being cheap?  I hope not, we thought it was thrifty along with having a good time.  Discovery is talking about finances right now with the current series as ‘Mind your own Business.’  A nice play on words.  Always good to take a look at spending, but can be uncomfortable when discussing finances with others.  Enough about that.  There will be some pictures on the page shortly.  I’ve got them taken, just have to post them.

A New Year!

Well, Chirstmas is over and we’ve rung in 2007.  This poses to be an exciting time as Devon is now 14 weeks pregnant.  It was a good time visiting family this holiday season and even more fun to be telling our news to everyone.  We’re excited for a July 4th baby, Dev is hoping that the baby doesn’t have to quite share it’s birthday every year with the holiday, but it will make rembering the birthday pretty easy!  We have a new digital camera from Dad and Mary Ann this Christmas and I am excited to start taking pictures and posting them.   Stay tuned for more in 2007.
