1st Birthday Fun!

Yesterday we had a little party for Mason.  He was so good the whole day and I think he had a lot of fun!  Besides some pretty bad thunderstorms that moved through and forced us all inside, I think it was a successful day.  Here are some pictures from the day.

Beach Photos 2

We are back from Hilton Head!  We had a great time, wish we could have been there a week more.  I am posting more photos; however, a tragic thing happended to us while we were down there.  Our external hardrive, where we have been keeping all photos/videos since before Mason was born crashed.  Needless to say were were pretty upset.  We have a handful of photos downloaded on Wal-Mart.com and on this blog, but besides from that, we seem to have lost everything.  That will teach us to back it up twice.  So, I will post what photos we quickly took Thursday/Friday, some of our best photos are gone!  Enjoy these. 

On another note, we can’t beleive Mason will be one year old this coming Monday.  He’s growing so fast!  We treasured these last days of “infanthood” and are getting prepared to more into “toddlerhood”!

That was our last day before we drove through the night to get home Saturday morning at 6:30.  Mason slept the whole way-10 hours, which is why we did it.  We were hoping he would sleep!  Hope you enjoyed the pics!

 

First Round of Beach Photos!

We are down in Hilton Head, SC on vacation, getting some much needed rest and relaxation.  It has been wonderful!  I’m posting a few quick pictures, a full post of pictures to come from beginning to end.  Mason has loved the pool and ocean, he’s not afraid of the water one bit, even his dad dunking him under!  Enjoy these first pics!

 

 

     

Promised Pics…

We’ve been keeping busy…here’s some pictures.  He’s got his easter outfit, a new haircut, some time with family and some time with some friends!  We’ve been swinging, trying to eat dog food, climbing in the dishwasher, and riding bikes with mom and dad.  Zion and Mason played so well together…look at Zion sharing her pinecone!

How does that happen???

Really, how does that happen…we have so many forms of communication and yet I find so little time to actually communicate.  If I haven’t sent an email, checked myspace, facebook, text message, or blogs how behind am I? That doesn’t even touch phone calls, voicemails, or letters.

This is going to be really disappointing for most of you, because I don’t even have a good picture to upload…you’ll just have to check back : )

Mason army crawling

  

Soo…Mason is army crawling and we built a fort today.  I personally have always loved forts.  I’m sure Mason will be building his own forts before we know it, for now we’ll take the army crawling and helping him out. 

     

 Also, just FYI, if you didn’t know Devon is now working at Pittsburgh School for the Blind and filling in for a maternity leave until May sometime.  She has submitted her resume for a full time Occupational Therapy position with Pittsburgh Public.  We are hoping that is where she will be working in Fall of 2008!  Keep it in your thoughts and prayers!

     

PCTC Today!!!

I’m looking forward to our trip to PCTC (Pennsylvania Christian Teen Convention)! We leave today (Friday) and get back Sunday afternoon…we’ll all be jazzed up from the speakers, worship, interaction…but ready to crash from little sleep, relational overload and a 4 hour van ride!  Shout out a prayer for us.  Specifically pray for: safe travel, for God to open our hearts and speak to us, a desire for transformation and a chance to build relationships. Also for the people putting on this event.

So it’s Valentines

Well I’m not a huge proponent for Holidays that support Hallmark and card companies, but I am a proponent of Holidays that support good food, good times and a consciencousness for something important we usually take for granted (Jesus, moms, dads, significant others, presidents, veterans, freedom, and I probably forgot alot…like groundhog day…good thing we have that holiday!)

That being said, we’re headed to Cranberry Highlands Golf Course for an extravagant dinner and a really funny comedian - it’s not Toney or Bryan (pastors at Discovery.) The comedian is Joe Minnetti and you can check out some of his stuff at his website www.funnyjoe.net and laugh hard.

Happy Birthday Dev!!!

Today is Devon’s birthday (mine was Wednesday…) so we got a cake from the Oakmont Bakery!  Peanut Butter Fudge…mmm. 

And tomorrow we are celebrating both of our birthdays by going to Phipps Conservatory and dinner while my parents watch Mason…thanks Mom and Dad!  Hopefully we’ll get some cool pics at Phipps.
